Fully Charged 2025

Our year-long program offers monthly professional development workshops for students. These sessions build leadership, communication, career readiness, and personal growth skills, preparing participants for success in school and beyond. The program fosters confidence and equips students with the tools to excel throughout the academic year and future careers. For the 2023-2024 school year, we worked with 25 students, and for the 2024-2025 school year, we are working with 30 students.

Session 1: Habits of success

We're excited to kick off the first session of our 6-part Fully Charged Program series! For this session, our guest speaker was Sam Brown from SB Impacts, who delivered an inspiring presentation on the Habits of Success. He covered essential topics such as:

  • Planning

  • Heart/Resilience

  • Attitude

  • Influence

  • Impact

  • Integrity

Sam's insights were invaluable, and his contributions to the program set the tone for what will be an impactful and empowering series. For more information on Sam Brown, visit www.sbimpacts.com.

Sam Brown, born in Houston and raised in St. Louis, embodies resilience and determination. Despite losing both parents by age 11, Sam’s journey is one of hope and triumph. Raised by his sister, who became his guardian at 13, Sam’s foundation of purpose and impact was shaped early on.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, making the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters, and went on to a diverse professional journey—from a three-year NFL and CFL career to working as a Project Engineer in the mechanical engineering industry.

Today, Sam inspires others as a public speaker, focusing on character development, relationship building, and mental performance. Through his project, *SB Impacts*, he creates spaces for personal growth, fostering stronger communities and a better world. Sam’s mission is to inspire others to reach their full potential by sharing his experiences with authenticity and passion.
