NATION OF LIFESAVERS

As part of the JReid InDeed Tackling Tech internship, high school students partnered with the American Heart Association and NFL safety Justin Reid to design campaigns that turn awareness into action. Inspired by the AHA’s Nation of Lifesavers movement, each intern team created a campaign tailored to a specific audience, from young students to school staff and college campuses. Together, these student-built initiatives form a powerful, unified effort to equip more people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to save lives with CPR – one community at a time.

  • JEMMS | Elementary school

    The JEMMS team created a colorful, engaging campaign to introduce young kids to the basics of heart health. With interactive games, friendly characters, and kid-safe tech tools, their goal was to make healthy habits fun and easy to understand – because it's never too early to start taking care of your heart.

  • Middle Heart | Middle School

    Middle Heart took things to the next level with a campaign designed to empower middle schoolers to take charge of their health. Featuring cool facts, peer-focused messages, and age-appropriate challenges, their content encourages confidence and ownership in making heart-smart choices.

  • Heart Code | High School

    High schoolers are leaders in the making, and Heart Code taps into their power. Focused on CPR training, lifestyle choices, and digital tools, this campaign encourages high school students to take responsibility for their health – and help others along the way.

  • Heart Hustlers | Student Athletes

    Geared toward students who train, compete, and hustle hard, this campaign connects peak performance with heart-smart living. From workouts to wellness, Heart Hustlers speaks the language of sports and shows how caring for your heart is a competitive advantage.

  • Core Cardio Corporation | college

    For college students balancing independence, stress, and change, Core Cardio Corporation delivers heart health education that fits their lifestyle. Think fast facts, smart tools, and easy wins – designed to keep students energized, informed, and heart-healthy through graduation and beyond.

  • Staff Strong | Teachers and Staff

    This campaign recognizes the heart of every school: its staff. Staff Strong focuses on practical wellness strategies for educators, administrators, and support staff – because those who care for students deserve tools to care for themselves, too.
